Examination Conditions

The examination will consist of a practical and a written examination.

There is no period of qualifying service required by candidates.

Reference will not be permitted for either examination.

Hand held electronic calculators will be allowed.

The maximum time allowed for the practical and written sections will be 8 hours and 4 hours respectively.

Candidates for the practical section must have completed projects on 6 plans:
-
Surface plan, Underground plan (Metalliferous), General plan (Coal), Vertical section, portion of Underground plan with a Section and Cadastral plan.
